QUELLI DELLA DOMENICA - RAI - 1968
Lara starred on the Italian television variety show "Quelli Della Domenica" in 1968. It was a new style of entertainment for Italian viewers that broke with tradition. Included in the cast was Paolo Villagio, in his television debut, with Kranz and Fracchia, Cochi and Renato, Gianni Argus, Ric and Gian and Lara Saint Paul. Marchesi, Terzoli and Vaime collaborated with Maurizio Costanzo on the show for RAI.
CANZONISSIMA ' 70 - RAI - 1970
This was the birth of the Italian TV variety show. Songs, comedy sketches, dancing, dueling presenters...every week Canzonissima brought the worlds of film and music together. The 1970 edition featured Lara Saint Paul.

Lara has been featured in many televison specials including the 1992 "Lara Superspecial" (Eurovisione RAI 2) spectacular which was broadcast all over Europe and in 19 countries, featuring Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, Harry Belafonte and Luciano Pavarotti. The highly successful television special received a special prize from the critica televisa. The "Lara Superspecial" orchestra was arranged by Gian Marco Gualandi, who also participated in Lara's 1992 European Tour.
SANREMO FESTIVAL

Lara has participated several times in the Festival Sanremo, the mecca of the Italian song. The first time she was only 16 and went by the name Tanya.

Sanremo 1968 - 18th Edition -Finalist: duet with Louis Armstrong; "Mi va di Cantare" by Bonassisi-Bertero-Valleroni
In 1968, jazz great Louis Armstrong (see photo above) and Lara Saint Paul surprised and delighted the Sanremo audience and television producers by turning the show into a real live jam session while performing their award winning duet "Mi va di Cantare" accompanied by Lionel Hampton. It was a real change for the Festival Sanremo in many ways, and is still looked upon today as one of the highlights in the Festival's history.

TOKYO INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL - FIRST PRIZE
Lara won awards at the Tokyo Music Festival and a gold record for her mega-hit "Aerobic Dance." Lara Saint Paul introduced the popular fitness craze to Italy in the early 1980's with a record and video, creating an album featuring the latest exercise moves choreographed by Lara with her music. She created her own exercise clothing line, video and personalized fitness centers while working closely with Jane Fonda's company in the USA. It made her a household name all over Italy.

- Lara Saint Paul's music has been produced by American producers Quincy Jones, Leon Ware and many other talented artists. She has sung with legends such as Bill Conti, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Henry Mancini, Roberta Flack, Harry Belafonte, and Louis Armstrong. Lara ventured into the world of filmaking when she completed production of a documentary on the life of friend and opera singer Luciano Pavarotti. The piece was originally produced by her husband and producer, showman Pier Quinto Cariaggi.
- Lara Saint Paul is a favorite for her live performances at grand European Casinos. Lara hosted the grand gala opening of the Sporting Club of Montecarlo, performing with Juliano Cavicchi and his orchestra, then brought the show to the Casino of Istanbul and the Teatro Nuovo di Milano. Most recently Lara opened the new millennium 2000 with a performance at the Casino di Campione.
